Nontrad Stories

Success is all about a person's individual determination to achieve their goals. Failure(s), often times is the first stepping stone of success. Take for example the life of an athlete. Failure(s) have inspired some of the greatest athletes to achieve success by overcoming those challenges and competing. ANTSHE believes that it is the ability to defy failure that enables success.

ANTSHE's Mentoring Program provides peer mentoring and mentoring using one-to-one pairs. The higher education field boasts a wide range of disciplinary knowledge. However, being able to navigate through the endless research, dissertation rites, postdocs, careers, funding, and the many trajectories our lives take can be a challenge. Learn how you can find a mentor or become a mentor.

Colleges & Universities

Each year ANTSHE recognizes schools that they consider to be Nontrad Friendly based on the information provided in the Nontrad Friendly Survey and a thorough review of the services provided to nontraditional students at the nominated school. Schools that are considered to be the most Nontrad Friendly are presented awards at our annual conference.
